It's a liquid storage tank on wheels..... I'm having a senior moment on the name..... Maybe frac tank:)

They haul them around mt and use them for temp on site storage on construction projects...

I live in the Marcellus region, when drilling was going strong I used to see a ton of those trailers running around. They were red with the company name "Adler" on them. I always wondered WTH they were also.

Yes frac. Or to put liquid manure type products in so the trucks keep running. Then a Terra Gator or pull tank pulls out of them and plows it in the ground.
Transport truck has a wench behind cab to pick up front and pull it on 5th wheel.
Water or liquid benite clay for drilling or whats pumped out.

That about covers it. Nothing is hauled in them. They are delivered to the locations empty, used for storage, then emptied before being moved. (And it can be hard on a driver's record to move them, as they are frequently lacking in adequate maintenance, i.e. tires, lights, etc.) I saw one this morning on the side of the road with two DOT units behind it. They are DOT magnets.

Some company men also use them as sewage tanks. All the trailers on site have their sewer systems plumbed to the tank.
But all the other uses are above....

lol...500 bbl to boot...non pressurized. Can be tied in tandem with hoses to increase storage cap.
