I worked for JB Hunt for 7 weeks in their Intermodal Division.

1st. I was never paid what I had been promised. They paid me 2 cents per mile less.

Home-time became an issue. It is supposed to be 5 days on and then 2 days at home. This works out fine if you live near a major rail freight center, such as Chicago. But I don't. The dispatchers only know how to dispatch to/from a rail yard. (They have yards scattered around the country where Intermodal trailers are run locally from. But I couldn't get them to assign me to one of those yards.) Since I don't live close to Chicago (Where they had me running from), they started to insist that I work 6 days instead. I said, "No", and quit.

And they have some of the roughest riding trucks that I have ever driven.

Where do you live? And they have the same trucks every other company has. Freightliner and Internationals. They do ride a bit harder cause of pulling spring ride trailers. Also pay is based on VERIFIABLE experience. So if they didn't get a response from a previous company they can't use it.
