Sitting in "my" cozy truck... it's cold and wet outside... Have been at this Quik Trip truck stop in OK since last Friday...

About 15 mins from receiver... Will deliver tomorrow morning and then head to next shipper north of OKC... And then will go to Florida... Requested "hometime" in my regular hotel for next weekend... Just want to get out of the chains of elog for a week and catch up with some paperwork... the regular stuff that I do during "hometime"...
Bought a X-large cheese pizza with tomatoes, black olives, green peppers... :p

And bought this pair or snuggies that someone suggested to try to keep my windshield clean...

Couldn't see with all the heavy rain last Friday... and the windshield wiper, despite of being new wasn't doing much of a job... :biggrin_25512: Hopefully this will work... One of the things that most annoys... and scares me in the winter is not being able to see thru ice covered windshield... :biggrin_2552:

The check was on the lower side of mid pack. After cashing it I went to Conroe for a pallet told to me as hazardous but I didn't get that impression. 572# going to Ceva. Picked up 532# at Ceva for the aforementioned trip to Belleville. He called before I got there and asked if I could pick up on Stubner Airline and have it to Ceva by 5pm. I thought I could. I saw a must have knife where I picked up. Benchmade 15016-1. Only $135 list. Might as well be $1135 but I shall try to save $20 a week to get one. Got to Ceva 4:50. Had been told by Tom that I might be driving the fireworks truck tomorrow. But when I asked Crystal she said "no ur not" I think I rather would. But whatever.

I had in addition to the 1090# crate I was at Manchester to drop 4 carpet rolls at roughly 30# a piece.
At 12:40 he called and I can't remember what he said. But the gist of it was get out of Manchester and go deliver that Ceva order now. Got to the address and it didn't look right. But while I was on the phone with dispatch a lady came out and said I was in the right place. Had to hump those things around two corners to the very back of the building. Then back to Manchester were I got out in a pretty decent 1 hour. Was Making my way towards the SDV area. He sent pickup two cartons 45# at Ceva and deliver at CTS Door 40. Argh! Got there 4:45. Sent empty 5. Started towards home 5:10. Got here 7:10. Hence the argh!
