My truck started getting hot on hills, today I will replace the thermostats, next will be water pump and finally radiator.

I have seen some after market radiators, advertised as better than original, can cool even a 1100 HP engine. Are these any good? Where to buy one?

I don't think thats your problem. Radiator thats in there now should cool it just fine.
Over heating can be caused by a lot of different problems...
I would start with flushing your water system and change the water filter.
Then move to the next cheap option until it clears the problem...
Or just pay big money and have the dealer diagnose the crap out of it.

But a larger radiator will not help a motor thats running above normal temps.
    IMO...

I just put a four row detroit radiator in my Marmon . I ran it for 4 1/2hours the other day at 65-70 mph when I stoped you could hold your hand on the bottom tank and it was not ever hot !

I have detroit radiator core in my radiator and their charge air cooler and I just put their a/c condinser in this weekend .

So I am definetily a happy customer !

    I stand corrected.
I didnt think a radiator made that much of a difference.

I was shocked that it cools as good as it does ! I would not have thought it would be that big of a difference myself .

Separate rads and clean bugs out the bugs and crap stuck in fins.. On my 2015 it ran 15 to 20 degrees cooler after cleaning it out

    I have a 99 Fld 120.
I pulled the 3 core and went to a factory 5 core...
    Makes a big difference

When the radiator in my 2006 Columbia started leaking at the lower tank, I bought the OEM replacement from Detroit Radiator. The Detroit cost around $800 as opposed to the Factory radiator at about $1200. The Detroit is all copper and can be easily repaired. But copper doesn't cool as well. The factory Radiator is aluminum with plastic tanks, cools better but can't be repaired. The custom multi-core should be better if you often haul in the mountain passes with heavy loads.
