Why not back door the Broker

Give that man a gold medal.

When you go to a place simply say one of the few things to them if you like the place.

1. "Next time I get over this way can I give you a call to see what you might have going?"

2. "Who do I need to see about getting on your email list"

3. "Give me a call next time you're having a hard time moving something"

 

Your car breaks down and you have it towed to a shop. When the wrecker shows up at the shop, he tells the wrecker to take it down the street to another shop. They fix it for $300, and drive it back to the first shop. That shop calls the owner and say we got it fixed, that will be $400.

Same thing as a freight broker.
