Wide Axle Spread

    Why do you not see more 72" spreads in Ontario? If I'm reading the regulations right, a rear tandem with a 46 rear and a 72" spread is legal for 19100kg and anything less then 72" is good for 18000kg. If your hauling B-trains wouldn't you want the extra capacity?

    Doesn't steer good in winter conditions. Hard on tires and bushings when turning sharp. The wider the spread the worst it rides. Cement truck and dump trucks use this spread because they carry the load. B train set ups pull the load more than carried so not required.
