I just got an email back from the recruiter today after I faxed them my DAC release report form back to them that said...

It would appear from your application that you are looking for a driving
school. We are not offering a school at this time. Sorry

    David Murphy

Just wanted to let y'all know.

    Thanks!

They pay for idleaire so that is a point in their favor.

can anybody tell me what willis shaw express pays per mile for rookies? I've already read a few other threads started about them but they don't have it posted on their site.I know I'm not going to get rich with this company but I'd like an idea of what they will give me.

I'm familiar with seeing them run around Atlanta, but I've not seen much of the 48 state side of things. I'd be interested in Leg's answers as well.

yeah just spoke to the recruiter myself.no experience 27.5 cpm.I don't even know if that's good or not.I can't count on the recruiter saying 2500 to 2800 miles per week so I lowballed that average to about 2200 miles a week.I can still make a wage being single and no kids.not a GOOD wage, but a wage.

Too bad they're not hiring out of NJ right now. I was thinking of trying them out when the summer hits. Maybe then...

I know that there are other threads where one was reviewing WSE from "inside" as he went to CDL training in ID to getting onboard with his trainer...but then he disappeared...at least I think he did.

    So here is my experience.

Nov 8 - arrived in NW Arkansas. Lodging right now is with Travelodge in Springdale...about a 25-30 minute ride. T'lodge will pick you up at the airport. Oh yeah, I couldn't imagine riding on a Greyhound so I flew.

They serve a continental breakfast (saves $$) and WSE feeds us lunch each day. We are responsible for our dinner/supper meal (depending on where you are from).

My room has an adequate frig and microwave. Short trip to grocery and you can likely save more.

    Next update in 12 hours.
