I've spent hours this winter scraping frozen sawdust or hog fuel off my live floor walls so i can reload a different product...no fun at all when you're paid my the mile

Been there and done it. I have arrived at destinations only to have to call for service. Service being in the form of a Herman Nelson set up underneath and one in the trailer. Under to thaw the floor and the lines, and the one inside to thaw the floor and the walls. Walking floors and winter were a nightmare back then. Looks like not much has changed.

SWWABen - is this your own trailer ? Or are you a company driver ? Are you compensated for scraping down ? Just curious.

It's a company trailer, a nice 2013 western high cube with Keith Express Floor. I get paid hourly after 45 minutes, but I'd rather be on the road, I make more with the wheels turning!

Plywood bolted to the walls and a plastic mesh tarp bolted to the front 20 feet of the trailer floor worked great when I haul chips in a possum belly. With the tarp in place even while snowing everything would still come out at dump site 4 hrs away.
