Honestly I am not 100% sure what it is. It came out of winchester KY from a place that makes septic tanks and all the stuff to install them. From what it looks like it is something that sits underneath the tanks in the gravel bed to support the tank more evenly throughout the ground. Not to sure though.

Hey milskired I was looking at your teuck man the sleeper looks like it is a very nice size. What do you think about it?
-
Its not bad. There is enough room for 1 person to stay comfortably in it. The 387 on the other hand is huge compaired to these.
-
Ahhh I think imma have to go with the 387. Where do they have you at now? I can't wait I have exactly 7 more days until I am in Des Moines. How did you get there and how long did it take you?

miz860 if I were you I'd fly to Des Monies if you can afford it. I am from South Jersey and when I went for orientation I decided to fly rather than take the Greyhound. I think my one way ticket was around $300, talk to your recruiter now or when you there, they should reimburse up to $150 of it or equal to whatever the cost of the bus is.
I was there at noon on Sunday, the first one of my class. A few people from the Philly area that took the bus were on it forever and it didn't arrive till late Sunday night like after midnight and those guys were beat since they were on the bus all day, I think something like 28 hours total on the bus, they said they had a 6 hour layover/ bus change in Harrisburg PA. Flying there was like 4 hours, with a small layover in Chicago, money well spent.
Class starts early Monday morning so it was nice to be able to have most of Sunday to relax and prepare. The hotel van will pick you up too at the airport or take a taxi and they will pay for it at the front desk as the hotel is near to the airport.
Whichever you chose, good luck to you and keep us posted here. -

Check internet schedule for cheap flights. I used orbitz and found that the day you fly greatly affected ticket price. Flying in from Nashville, Tn. only cost $138 on Sat. (was over $400 to fly on Fri. or Sun.) I called recruiter to see if I could check in to hotel on Sat. and was told I could. Bus ticket was $140, so I had no out of pocket expense to fly. On top of that I would have had to catch the bus at 6am on Sat. anyway and arrive at Des Moines on Sunday afternoon. Had an easy day on Sunday talking with drivers staying at the hotel and was plenty rested for Monday.

Yea I found a plane ticket that will have me in des Moines by 3 pm Sunday. It was only $200 but I leave philly at 7 am but whatever. It's better then $400
-
Congrats on getting a plane ticket. If you notify your recruiter of your plans, he should tell you to call the hotel when you land, and the hotel will send a courtesy van to pick you up. The hotel is only about 10 minutes away from Des Moines airport and should not require the cost of a taxi.
