The wait time for unloading and loading verys for all drivers.... I pull a dry van now and am in line, have been for an hour and it looks like it will be at least 3 hrs longer. This is not the norm but it does happen from time to time. Just expect that, wherever you go and what ever trailer you pull and with whom ever you driver for.

Immy,,continue to do your research, I have been researching for 3 years now and though I know what to look for, the results are the same. You must talk to drivers of whatever company you are looking into. Just be smart anough to know what to look for when your asking said driver the questions. Not all drivers are the same, and I am being polite. Don't just jump into anything, take your time.

I can never work for TMC,(cause of a couple of 25 yr old dui"s) but run into many of them at shipper"s,receiver"s,and truck stops.,-I make it a point to talk to them,(time allowing)cause of all the bad things I have read about them on the threads here.Out of oh,I would say 20 TMC drivers I have "interviewed",I have not found ONE unhappy camper.,-I am sure they are out there, but I have not found one.:biggrin_2556:

Thats what Ive come across too. I see TMC drivers a lot at roofing material distributors and have talked to quite a few while gettin loaded. Ive only come across a few that werent happy. I was really suprised when I started looking around on here and saw so many negative opinions.

Hi everyone just a comment on home time and money at Tmc.my husband has been there for 6.5 yrs.and yes he does good there he averages about 72 to 73 a year.now on home time he gets aggrivated because he likes to run and make bigger checks. And. Sometime they send him home his fleet manager can't or don't get the run to run him the weekend so instead of him setting somewhere they send him to his family.now don't get me wrong he loves me and his kids and that's why he runs hard as he does.Tmc has been great to our family unfortunately we've had a few people go be with the lord and let me tell you Tmc went above and beyond to get him home they flew him home twice just to make sure he got there to be with us.so to me and im not a driver im a stay home mother of 7 kids i would recommend Tmc to anyone that has a family. So to all be safe and god bless each and everyone of you guys out there on the road.

that's one good thing I have to say about the company, I experienced a death in the family in 2009 and my former FM, Chris Lappe, could not have handled the matter any more professionally.

they have some good people working for them, but that does not make a good company.
