Will do Slowmotion35. Keep in mind all of you thinking of going with TMC. If you are a recent grad from a driving school, you wont get paid the 2 weeks you are in Des Moines. If you make it to the graduation Friday, you will get 600 dollars for the time you were there, But if you quit within 6 months of your hire date, they will take that money out of your last check. So basically you wont get your last check if you quit within 6 months.
KEEP THAT IN MIND

I have to ask you DG1

I worked with a guy from Whitwell years back. The guy talked real funny with his slang. Another worker told me everyone in Whitwell talks that way.
Do you talk funny??

Dieselgupsy1, keep us all posted. I will finish CDL training at the end of march. My top three companies in no particular order are Maverick, TMC and Watkins Shepard. I just got back from having lunch at the local truck stop (startown exit off 321) and saw a TMC truck in the lot. If nothing else you have to admit they have some nice looking Petes.

Condocruiser,,,,that is some funny stuff right there....
I will tell ya this, I moved to Whitwell MNT in 2001 and it took me a couple years before the locals excepted me and my family. They new right off that we were not from there but, I am very good with people,,,most of the time.
I want to let everyone know that I have been excepted to TMC and will be attending their Experienced driver Orientation in SC on the 21st. I want to assure everyone that TMC does allow food in their trucks...LOL I don't like the fact that I have to use their CB's but hey,,it is their truck. I guess my Stryker 440 will just have to sit at the house for now. I just pray that my 43yr young body doesn't let me down....

Go Figure,,,on the day that I give my current employer my two week notice, my drive shaft falls out. Well, I decided that I will not depend on them to keep me moving. I rented a car and am driving to nearest terminal. They have assigned me a temp truck and a new load... go figure, when you take things into your own hands, things happen.

One more week to go and I am done driving an orange truck and trailer around.... It has been a great ride and I have no complaints, well none that matter anyway...LOL I would recommend SNI to anyone, especially a new driver.
I am seriously looking forward to doing something different and feeling like I am doing more than holding a steering wheel all the time.
I am stoked that I get to goto Columbia, SC for my orientation and it is only 4 days. I have looked on thier website many times and says all new hires go to IA, thank God I don't have to go that far..
You all be safe out there and I will keep you updated. I will be home from the 11th until the 20th, so I might not post much on those days, if at all.
