I attended a local Class A driving school 6 years ago and received my license but decided to drive limos locally instead. 6 years later I want to drive OTR. After much research I have decided that flatbed is what I want to do and hopefully with TMC.
Since I have my class A and went to school 6 years ago do you think TMC will hire me on? Or do I need to take a refresher coarse?
Thanks!
Jason

You have to take the whole course. Usually more than 3 not driving. A simple refresher course will not do. I was in the same boat. I hated to spend another 5's.

Maybe I should apply at Roehl. It looks like they hire people with their CDL but have no experience. -
You dont have 5 grand saved up driving limos what happend to all the tips from the celebrities youn karted around gotta save those tips.
Just kidding lol.....even if you go with a company that trains they still will charge you for training if you quit and decide you dont like trucking. If you really wanna do it go for it just finish the contract and move on to TMC. -
i think no matter what otr company you apply to you,ll have to go back to school again. try a local company.

If you hold a class A CDL TMC will consider you. You will get driver training through them. Apply at TMCtrans.com

Usually when people bash a company with no facts it means that they wanted to work for the company but didn't get accepted. There is absolutely nothing unfair bout TMC. He probably just got turned down by them and now he is making up stories.
