I have been looking at TMC for a few years now and I am looking for more info from anyone who lives in the deep south who is currently driving for them. I had an opportunity to drive for them right before I graduated from college but didnt take it because I thought I could find something local (that has failed badly) so I am looking to try and go back with them. I see their boat division alot going down I-12 but not much else, I typed in my zip code but it said they are not currently hiring but if I put in the zip code to seven miles from my house they are hiring which doesnt make much sense to me, also the driving school I would have to go to to either get a refresher course or do a full course again is only 37 miles from my house and they hire graduates from that school so Im kind of lost with that too. Does anyone currently driving for them live in south louisiana? I know at least one driver lives in my home town because I see the truck parked up from time to time. I know the home time for where I live is once every two weeks but at this point I am ready to get back into driving working in a DC is getting old, as is having a CDL and not using it. So anyone who could pass off any information would be greatly appreciated.
TMC in Louisiana.

You get some kinda reward for pushin us, china? Lol
Chinatown Thanks this. -
You live in Slidell??..they should hire you... They have freight all over that area, at least I knew they did.

I live in pa but have been down to NOLA a few times. Once got ungodly good freight coming out, the other 3 times, i got the worst freight ever. We don't have much freight down there. They would probably hire you, but you would get home every 2 weeks, not every week. If you get a load out of the lumber place it pays great, but the steel place and the insulation place dont.

Yeah, there is an old style truckers hat (mesh back with the rope round the front) and a coffee mug with the old rabbit logo in the company store i keep trying to steal....

Yes Sir, I do I live less then a mile off I-12. Do you work for them? I see alot of flat beds coming in and out of nola (Boyd, WTI, P&S). I used to see TMC alot but now its every once in a while and mostly with boats. I did see one of the brand new 388's going down I-12. I'll give them a call and go from there. Any other information would be great. -
I keep hoping they will expand their borders to New Orleans. Its the one company I would give anything to work for. But alas they dont like New Orleanians. Even though I see an average of 10 TMC trucks a week in the metro area. Heres to hoping.

I see more of their trucks hauling pallets of shingles down I-12. Its still saying that they aren't hiring in the area, but they are hiring in Hammond and in Pearl River which makes little sense because Pearl river is seven miles from my house.
