Im starting orientation with TMC on the 21st and have a semi relevant question. If tmc gets you home every weekend does it limit your range at all? I live in chicago and I'm curious if they will try to keep me mostly in the mid west or not. If so does this have an impact on pay for example if a guy lives in an area that maybe isnt quite as active and they're trying to get him home every weekend will he potentially make less money to get home on a semi regular basis?

It's really hard to say for sure but yes if you want to be home every weekend it will limit how far out you will get and when you are getting your load home you may have to pass up a good paying load for one paying less because the good load is going the opposite direction of your house. I live in the Midwest and that's where I usually run and from what I've seen that's where the best freight is as far as regional runs and being home every weekend.

Your 1000% correct, althoguh you do live in a good area so it wont be as bad. If you stay out for 2 or 3 weeks, you can take the nest loads going in any direction. If you stay out only 1, you have to take freght keeping you near home and thus is might not be the best freight. That being said, there is a lot of Midwest freight for you, although you make not have the time to go to Co or tx.

You're in a great area to keep busy. You should be fine, but if you stay out a week here and there, you'll see that you can make some #### good money.
