Your Sunday makes the rest of the week go is what I'm hearing. It was the same way with hauling cows. Better leave on Sunday if you wanted home Friday.

I left a couple Sundays and still got home Saturday, so I stopped leaving on Sundays (when I worked for them). I would leave out early Monday morning and be at the consignee by 8:00am and would have enough time to pick up next load and run a little longer depending on circumstances.
That being said, I still made decent checks every weekend. But, when I came home I would be pushing either my 11hr or 14hr clock. Many times I would come home with 5-20 minutes left. -
I will find out soon I guess. I leave today for Iowa.

Being at consignee sunday night is key to a good week. If all goes well and you manage your clock you can spend every night at or very close to the next consignee.

The % scale is based on a point system
You get points for:
Truck revenue..higher revenue (more loads) = more points.
MPG...you are compared to the rest of the fleet. Average gets average points. Getting better MPG then the average drivers gets you the most points. Average mpg target changes weekly based on everyones mpg. Higher mpg higher points.
Out of Route Drive as close to the dispatched miles as possible. less then 4% extra miles gets the most points. Under 10% is normal for noobs. This is all averages, some trips will have 25% OOR and even perfect planning cant fix that.
Hamat, twic, and passport Additional points will be rewarded for having each of these
Time with TMC 1 point per year.
Clean truck Can add points if you show up to service with a clean truck. Points will be subtracted if your in violation.
TQM class Taking the class gives you 5 points
Leaving on Sunday For each week-end you leave on Sunday you get an additional 5 points. (might be 5,5,4,3,3 depending on weeks in month)
Um i think thats it. A decent driver should have enough points to maintain 28%. leaving on sunday alone can bump u up a whole % point.
