I imagine I will be well served to make this quote my motto in the early days/years of the job, regardless of what company I end up with…or so I have gleaned from the posts on this forum

TMC hauls Griffin pipe out of your area to the east coast. These great paying are great paying no tarp loads. If you decide to go flatbed percentage is the way to go. At least it was for me. When with your trainer figure what you what you would earn both ways then decide. If you are willing to stay out a couple weeks at a time and learn how to manage your time you will make money with TMC. As for slow trucks most on the road are. I drive an ungoverned truck now and found it much more stressful to be the one doing the passing. Now I set the cruise at 63 or 64 and let the miles and the Impatient roll on by. Good luck to all .

Living near omaha would put you in a prime money making location for tmc. If they still have their griffin pipe contract out of council bluffs, youll be draggin that iron pipe all over the place - coast to coast. 9 times out of 10 it goes to a job site, sometimes with tricky directions but youll have fun there. I did. I just had to move on to bigger and better things as my budget and family grew.

yea thats what i said in the PM. Griffen pipe is so easy to haul to. Just throw 10 straps and your done. No edge protectors, x straps, or belly required. I thought that place only serviced midwest, not east but i could be wrong. I know there is another griffen place further east but i cant remember where it is.

I'm really considering TMC. I think I am in a great location for hometime every weekend. It's TMC trucks parked everywhere around Sanford/Fayetteville area.
