Hey thanks for taking the time to get back to me Minnies! I can't pm you back without 7 posts so I guess Ill post my questions in here.
1) Do you know anything about their Texas dedicated routes and what the hometime and pay would be like?
2) what is your average hometime OTR and how many hours are you usually home on the weekend?
3) Do you get any type of vacation pay or time?
4) I currently live in Louisiana and plan on moving to Texas (Austin to be exact), so when I get ready to move do you think it would be a problem to ask for a few extra days off to move, lets say 3 to 4 months after I would start with TMC?
5) you said you made on average $800-900 a week. Is that after taxes have been taken out?
6) Where does TMC want you to park your truck on the weekends?
Thats all for now and hopefully I didn't ask to much -
I pull a curtain side & home most weekends; equipment is ok but the money makes up for it

I saw 2 tmc trucks this weekend parked at a truck stop near my house for their weekend break. Atleast I know where I can park on weekends now lol. One had 3 boats on the back of it. looked pretty sweet

Pm sent ... Oh yea... All of you remember... You are on a 2 week long interview while in orientation. Tmc owns that hotel and everyone IS paying attention to you whether you realize it or not. Good luck and keep me posted

If you're going to Tmc just for the equipment, you're in the wrong industry, or you haven't done enough research. Tmc has lots of freight, lots of ways to get you freight, and they help you out every step of the way. You may not agree with your fleet manager always, but he's here to make you and him some extra cash if you want it. If you are wanting the big checks, you're going to need to stay out a week or two. If you live in a bad freight zone, you're not going to make as much as you can in different areas. Be flexible, be professional, and you will be a happy driver. From what I've looked at the past few years while there is Tmc takes care of our equipment better than 95% of companies I've talked to. It helps that they're getting a whole new fleet, but even the older Pete's were taken care of. If you have pride in what you do, and what you drive, you'll be fine. TMC Has a lot of rules, but they're put there to take care of us. I have friends who've left for "the greener grass," and have come back because it's really a good company that will keep you busy. I probably repeated myself a couple times, but I really get annoyed by people who pick companies just for their equipment. Orientation is what you make it. You'll make some good buddies, learn some very valuable stuff, and most likely get a darn good trainer. Just keep in mind that flatbedding is hard work, so either prepare yourself, or change to van.
