just got my call

Recruiter brad from TMC called and said my application was accepted. I still have to attend school, however my tentative day for orientation is July 7. I'm stoked now

 

I should not be one of those that leaves mysteriously during orientation, I know for sure I dont have anything in my background that I have lied about, and I dont have any serious health issues that I havent told them about. I live a relatively boring life, I dont speed, and other than my accident last year, I dont have anything on my driving record. So If I leave its because I screwed up, and I dont plan on doing that.

 

Because I dont start my CDL school till May 5, and its a evening course. So its a total of 8 weeks. Plus with Memorial day, that extends the graduation day, thats scheduled for june 30. The good thing is the last day I spoke with my instructors for my class there was only 3 people scheduled for the class, and if it stays that amount, it will increase truck and range time because the school as 5 trucks.

 

Updating my thread as much as possible. But it's going good man. The time in the seat is coming along, getting a good variety of loads for the securement experience. So far it's an excellent training period. I'm hoping that TMC is everything that I'm told it is one I'm on my own.
