Cool thanks. I was also just accepted to PGT. Lol never had so many companies wanting to hire me. Coming from the last 15 years in information technology it's a complete 180 degree change. Lol

one problem I'm worried about is I am so broke right now from being unemployed so long that paying for breakfast and dinner is going to be hard during orientation for two weeks at TMC.

PGT is only one week orientation and they cover breakfast lunch and dinner.

Just worried and weighing my options. I also don't want to get there and sent home for not being able to do the tarp test and be stuck in Des Moines with no cash and no way home.

Committed but nervous. I always strive to be the best at anything I do.

    Thoughts?

You gotta do whats right for you. Only you can make that determination.

TMC will give you some of the best, most valuable training you can get before even stepping foot in a rig. I'm not sure about PGT, because I've never worked there, but they're both flatbedding jobs, and if I remember right, PGT has some alright equipment. White Prostars and such? I believe they have curtain side and haul a crap ton of steel in the Indiana, Michigan, Ohio area. Mainly where I've seen the most of them. Basically, like gunner said, you gotta do what's right and best for you. No one else can tell you otherwise.

Thanks. Yes I am going with TMC. I like their focus on training and safety. Test for my cdl in two days and then going to drive out to Des Moines Saturday.
