Properly lifting and moving the tap from one spot to the trailer, climb up on the trailer, then lift the tarp up onto a steel coil, move around to the other side, take the tarp down, move top the end of the trailer, climb down, take the tarp off set it on the ground

Okay so like a physical test not actually tarping the load, assuming they will train new guys on proper strapping and tarpin? I have 0 experience on flatbed but curious about it

You'll go through a course on the strapping/chaining aspect, and they'll teach you to roll tarps and all that good stuff, but the tarping really gets practice out with your trainer.

Ohio is one of their larger better paying freight lanes. Lots off higher paying coming out, quite a bit decent paying going in. Home time is often in Ohio

Today's class was cool, we did a lot of forms and tests, went through the different pay types, percentage vs mileage. I got to get some straight line backing in, and learned how to sift their 13 speed transmissions on the simulator. Today was also the first to to Wal-Mart. 2 guy's were told to be back at the bust at a set time and weren't there, the bus left. They had to find their own way back to the hotel. They do this for two reasons. 1 follow directions, if you can't, then you aren't gonna work there 2 if you #### up, own up to it. They also went over how their qualcomm works and the different macros used.

So far it's a great experience, I'm still here so I must be doing something right, or I'm lucky. I'm told we've lost a total of 6 people due to medical issues and one guy just couldn't lift the small 80lbs tarp. Other than that, I'm having a good time.

Day 3 was filed with watching training videos, and their hos tests, and finishing off the last few tests. Those who didn't do the simulator and straight line backing and they went over the va programs.

Peoples scored were fairly scary from the hos test. All in all an uneventful day if you weren't on the list for straight line backing and simulators.

Are you in a class full of students? Sounds like some game show cutting people left and right till only one is left to work with them lol
