It's a light bulb. You are complaining about a LIGHT BULB.. You need a hobby, and a work ethic. My girlfriend doesn't even ##### like you do. I bet he has a real "high dollar" van job now where he doesn't even have to break a sweat. Be careful not to break a nail, cupcake.
My TMC experience.

I believe they get you home for Christmas for sure, but New Years isn't a guarantee? It's been a couple years since I've cared haha.

Enough with the bickering. This is Gunner's thread about his TMC experience and up until the trash talking, I've enjoyed it so far. I'm looking at going with this company (some may agree, others may not) for some flatbed experience. Reading about his trials, tribulations, good times, and bad times...it seems like the good is far outweighing the bad. While there is never a perfect situation when one is working for "the man," it is always what we make of it.
Gunner -- your experiences have really helped me in narrowing down my choices of which company I would like to work for. Thank you so much for posting everything that you have. Please keep up the good work and ignore some of the Negative Nancies around here. They are in every thread and every company's section that I have browsed through.

Alright Gunner I'll take the 1st step to get this thing back on the rails. Just finished my second week out solo. Left Des Moines last Tuesday around noon. The first week I was able to exceed training pay even though it was a partial week. I didn't get a 34 hour reset last weekend because the loads didn't get me home until Saturday and I had to leave again Sunday afternoon. This week was a full week. It was a little rough running on recap, I fought the 70 hour clock the last couple of days, but I managed the clock as best I could. Had a couple of significant delays, one at a shipper and one at a receiver, causing me to not make a delivery at all on Wednesday. Even though "trucking happened" I still managed to gross over $900 and my tarp pay put me just over $1000 on my first full week.
For everyone reading Gunner has not been blowing smoke. The people saying they failed to make any money were doing something wrong. If you hustle and manage your clock the numbers Gunner has been reporting are realistic.ScottM, Gunner75, Battle Born and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thank you, I do try to post as much correct and honest info as possible.
Running recap sucks. That there is no doubt. Thats why I am glad the new/old reset rules are the way they are. I didnt get home till yesterday morning, so my reset wont complete till around 5pm today. Had this been 2 weeks ago, I wouldnt get a reset. Make sure when you are delayed at shippers and consignee's you put in your detention macro. Sometimes you wont even have to as the Detention office will put you in it automatically after they message you to see how long till loaded. Sometimes these delays will help, other times not. Ive been delayed so long Ive gotten a full 10hour break in before I was even loaded, and wasnt able to get sleep because I had to constantly move the truck once an hour. Keep in mind, this season is a slow season for us and freight. Manage your clocks and you should be good.Last edited: Dec 21, 2014

Does your truck auto start your clock? If so, how is it factored in? MPH, distance moved, etc.?
