Gunner75, I am trying to see when you say you have received other job offers. Is this something you work out seeking or just received random offers if so how did they get your information.

    THanks

It rolls both way wing. If you're putting your name out there or if you've applied. You'll get offers. Sometimes your resume gets hits. Just depends on the situation.

Can anyone tell me specifically what their physical exam was like?

I am just finishing school and TMC did catch my eye because (1) they offer good pay, or seemed to, (2) they claim to work hard and stay extremely professional which fits my personality, and (3) the trucks are gorgeous. They say you can make as much as $1500-$2000 in one week based on "percent of load" pay option. If I knock 30% off that optimistic projection, that's $1050 to $1400 per week, or $52,500 to $70,000 per year based upon 50 work weeks. I am cautiously accepting of their projections. They also promise to send me cross country and into Canada, which I want to do. After 1-2 years of experience, I can settle into the Texas only routes they have.

Anyhow, so far TMC seems to offer what I am looking for. We will see.

Making $1400+ is extremely difficult unless you're out forever, which isn't guaranteed to make you more money. Or if you're on john Deere, but you gotta run the truck right. You can make over $1000 if you know how to run and keep the #### door shut, but that's my opinion. The money is there, especially now with freight picking up. Winter can just be pretty hard on a man. Slow freight, cold weather, tarps, it can really suck. But it's a four season gig so you gotta be open to it.

John Deere is their specialized division. More big money loads and better freight.

The lowest I made for my trainer was 1300 and I wasn't running hard at all. If you have a good work ethic and can plan, you'll make money. It's not hard at all. It's definitely slow right now and I can't wait until it picks up.

Being a trainer isnt practical for all incomes. As a trainer youll get higher paying loads that are 2 day runs for a single driver because trainers have 18 hours of time at their disposal every day, and at 3 weeks, you can run straight teams.

I ran hard with TMC staying out 2 or even 3 weeks at a time and my checks were never over 1250, and I was at 29% with my first But I had to run hard and stay out for weeks to get there. My new company I dont have to do that, and I make what I was making with TMC because of the dedicated routes that Im on
