Don' act like an immature J**koff and you will more than likely have a job. It's that simple they want respectful honest drivers representing them at customers. Oh and catch the early bus during week one and finish what they want you to do. driving a truck and making money at it is for the self motivated.

Don't leave your truck in neutral going down a mountain while a blizzard is happening on the simulators like someone did today at orientation today. He ended up flipping the truck twice.

Just finished orientation with snowez, and everything above is correct. It's a 2 week job interview. The hotel staff is reporting back on you as well as the bus drivers. Keep your head down, do as told, pay attention to detail, listen to your instructors, and you'll get a chance to prove you got what it takes, after 5 weeks if your good, you'll go test out with a drive test and a backing maneuver. If you pass you'll get a truck, if you fail, you'll go home.

Bring nice-ish clothes. Also, training story. I was in Montana on US212 once and it was like early morning and my trainer was still up, but it's pretty hilly and all that. I was hit the crest of the "mountain" and started shifting up. We had around 79k of wood from Idaho and well, I apparently thought the truck was a 15 speed. I took it out of gear and automatically went "deer in headlights." My trainer still makes fun of me to this day. Scary, yet amazing learning experience. I spent almost all 5 weeks out west. Anyway, just be smart and pay attention.

They are watching time management also. So do all computer test when you have breaks. Also when they give a time to be somewhere on time is late and early is on time.
