Ohhhhh I don't stress or rush..at least not when im out on the road anyways...thats my solitude...when im home dealing with my alcoholic fighting family that's when I stress..lol otherwise when I'm out on the road I crank up liquid metal on xm satellite radio, crank the A/C to max set my cruise to 70 then lay back in my Legacy gold rocking chair and let my ISX cummins do the rest...lol

Edmund,I was alluding to the ones that gripe about 65 vs 62 mph.Now 75 is a different story. That alone will probably get you an extra load per week.

Yes very true....my apologies I was under the false pretense you were trying to perpetuate that anyone with a faster truck isn't going to generate more income than someone with a slower truck.....it's all good...;-)

You know I ran for TMC for 2 1/2 years, never bad a problem with them till now. All.these years I had only one fleet manager. So I give them a 2 week notice, I like to be honest and don't want to burn any bridges. What do they do, they tell me to pick up a load and drop it off at terminal and turn my truck in. What the hell This is how they treat me after 2 1/2 years of running and never being a problem , no accidents, no arguments, and load appointments alwYs on time. Really disappointed with this company, thought they were different.

It's probably one of those deals where they don't want to risk you abandoning the truck at all. Look at how many companies out there have drivers who just leave the truck someplace and mail the keys to them. I can't say that I blame them.

I do blame them gunner, the screwed me. I was being honest with them the whole time and tbe y took advantage of that, now I got a local job and won't start till 1 week or 2 weeks from now, so I am loosing money cause of thesrdiots. And all for what? Being honest. If that's how they treat their good drivers , well, thats probably why they loose 2% of their workforce a week

TMC is one of the typical bottom rung starter companies designed to get someone going then cut them loose. Looks like you probably hung on a little to long.

If more people realized you do not have to put up with these garbage companies to get a job driving a truck they would lose their grip on cheap truck driving labor.

Best of luck in your next venture.
