makes little sense to compare TMC with dry van companies
and at 3 weeks newbies dont know enough to know what the honeymoon phase is

Its been said that individuals who cuss are more honest and truthful. Plus it tends to drive home the point. In 12 months if I am still there, it will be due to my dedication and because TMC is working out the way I had hoped.

Telling the truth respectfully is one thing, but doing so by telling one that in not so many words a blooming idiot not so much. You did so when you group everyone in with the same decision. By telling them that they were idiots. So far TMC is working out for me. I started this en-devour into trucking like my father and grandfather because I knew what would be expected of me, and I knew I could make a good living at it.

I apologize that I stooped to your level with the degrading and disparaging remarks that you have shown in other posts of yours. However, you might try sidelining the negativity that you have towards others when it comes to the choices that THEY made. However if its a choice that results in a post from them saying they shouldve listened...well then, I told you so would be in order.

Because they can. Lower cost new drivers, (like you), are coming in the front door all the time. Even if they have to pay $1000 to train you it’s still a great deal for trucking companies. It’s very hard to find a 20 plus career truck driver who has been with the same company all that time. We can talk about loyalty and dedication to our job, but at the end of the day we are all just the next one that comes through the door. I’m of course going to be criticized for this remark, but it’s been 15 years working. You will develop your own form of bitterness as the years go by.

New to trucking yes, but ive been around the industry since I was a kid in diapers. I know more then the typical newbie. Although I still have a LOT to learn. Which is why negativity from individuals moves the industry forward little.

Until now I have never used the word idiot on this site. I do not and will not stoop to name calling I was brought up differently.

I'll bow out of this thread and let you cool down before you get a talk from someone about name calling and cussing. I hope TMC works out for you and I hope there are no hard feelings. Tomorrow will be a better day i'm sure.

Are you new to this planet. Negativity is the catalyst of change in this industry. Nothing happened until the negativity level hit a certain level. It’s addressed by changing a procedure or system, or throwing money at it.

my father was a vice president of design engineering at western electric for 40 years
    doesnt make me a engineer
my grandfather was a dairy farmer diesnt make me one
my son is gay doesnt make me that either
    you would fail debating class

TMC might be a fine company and a good fit for you
and you might be a fine driver
your original premises are wrong on face value

    flyingmusician and SMTatham Thank this.

You do realize you dont have to actually same something for it to mean something right? Its called implied perception. I can tell someone their decision was wrong, lace it with all kinds of sarcasm, and it would be the same as telling them that they are a ####### idiot.
I never said I was a sage of anything, Ive been around the industry since I was a kid. Ive only recently gotten my A. Huge difference.
