Bang I'm waiting to hear back as well. Was hoping to hear back on Friday but Jen told me if the hiring committee didn't have it done Friday I would know Monday. I'll be graduating the local school on the 21st and hope to head out to DesMoines as soon as possible after that. That's right in the Christmas wheelhouse so I'm not sure if they are going to ask me to come in before New Years or after but either is fine with me.

I heard back from TMC today and my application was approved by the hiring committee. I spoke with Jen and it looks like if everything goes smoothly with my local CDL school (all but a certainty I'm sure) I will be heading to Des Moines on Dec. 29th for orientation.

Great thanks wolfpack, I'm sure once I get knee deep in orientation I'll have some questions pop up. I'm putting together a list of questions and adding to it as they come up. I'm really looking forward to this, but it looks like it might cost me my current job. My winter leave was turned down today, which means I will probably have to put in my two weeks notice sooner than later. It would have been nice to be able to schedule orientation for the spring but I'm no stranger to midwest winters and my carhardts are well broken in.

Well seeing where you are from I totally understand. Just go in with an open mind and everthing should be alright. Just one thing to follow while in Des Moines. STAY OFF THE GRASS!!!!

Thanks, same to you. As for the grass, everywhere has it's own quirks and pet peeves, how hard is it to walk on the sidewalks? I wonder if groundskeeper Willie works there....

Well i think it just shows respect for the property and the people that take care of it.
