To the best of my knowledge I was not reimbursed a penny for the 400+ mile round trip I drove to and from orientation. Of course it's possible I was but there are no paper check stubs to look at. I really need to login to my online account so I can see the specifics on my checks.

Get with your training coordinator, maybe they can make it happen. Probably not, it has been more than two weeks, but try. -
I flew in and they gave me $150 to help cover the cost since that what a bus would have been.

I did fill out that paperwork at Orientation, I just haven't seen a check stub or pay breakdown to verify that they paid it. I think they have been paying me mileage for the 350 mile round trip to and from my trainer every weekend though, so they probably did pay the orientation mileage. Just have to check which I think I'm going to do right now. I just checked my account and sure enough I was paid for that mileage on my first check. Kind of glad I went to check that, there is plenty to check out in there.

Yeah I am saving the pdf stubs too. Wish they could email them to you though.

Hey cplmac2 I am also suppose to start at TMC orientation on the 16th of March.....but from all the bad reports I have seen about TMC I'm not so sure now.....1 it is like a competetion that they weed you out....have you heard that?? just might wait and go to Roehl on the 4th of May..hate to wait that long buttttt.......just don't know...maybe I will see you there !!

You won't see me there, I finished orientation and training already. They do try to weed people out, they are pretty up front about it once you are already there. I spoke with my trainer today and he told me that he went to see safety while his truck was being fixed in Des Moines and they told him that he owes them $800 for idling his truck. When he told them that we've spent a LOT of time in 15 degree weather and what did they want him to do they said they wanted him to do his job. This is not a good sign, it's bad enough they don't take cold weather MANDATORY idle time off of your mileage or idling stats, but to then try and force you to pay it is way out of line. If I were you or anyone else with an option I would stay the hell away from TMC, I've got to much time in at this point to walk away but if I knew before I started what I know now I would have gone to Roehl. TMC does not even pretend to give a crap about it's drivers. I don't know what's happened in the past 3 months, but this is not the same company I read about on this forum just a short while ago.
