The terminal/ yard in Grove City is basically just a place to park.
It has a few office people, a drivers lounge, washer/ dryer, and a shower.
They have a couple vending machines there, but if I am there I usually order food to be delivered or bring in something if I know I may get stuck there.
There isn't a shop of duel there. -
You can have ALL the good attitude you want, if you tell them you are ready to go at a certain time and you end up sitting almost all day before they give you a load, your attitude tends to dwindle to the bad side. (And yes, I realize I am not going to get a load that leaves at the very moment I want, but killing the whole day and not making any money is not good )
They are not a very organized company at all, until the they realize that drivers are the ones who make every thing go and not upper management, it will not be a driver friendly company.
I have been here almost nine months and keep staying hoping it will get better, but if the best has already passed me I just wasted nine months.....time will tell.
Bottom line is, I would not try recruiting anyone to this company until things have changed for the better. -
I have those days also now and then. Have a chat with you F/L about that, when I chatted with mine it made a difference. Especially when the weekends hit, not a fan of the weekenders.

10 -4 on the weekenders.
JGygli, do you park your truck at TAJA for hometime? That's where I park.
I have heard teaming is the way to go at TA, but they never have found me a codriver.....have a safe one -
I was waa ready to be on my own alone...lol -
I'm doing my research before coming into the business and would like to know if there are any running lanes in N.C., paticularly near Raleigh?

Placarded loads are hazmat loads, my last bump with those people before i quit i ran from philly to TANJ i tried to fuel and my comdata card wouldnt work, i called the after hours dispatchers and let him know and told him i wanted to fuel before i went on line 2, the short and sweet he told me to not bother him with my problems my card was fine and i was a liar, so i called comdata they said TA deactivated my card even thought i was under a load, i called night dispatch back and this time he let me know my place in this world, i called my wife she came and got me, in the mean time i turned in all my crap and packed up my stuff and let them know i had resigned, this wasnt the only thing that happened or even the worse thing, but it was enough for me,
