ITs 3 days in Fory Wayne, IN, for those 3 days you will learn on the computer about Hazmats and stuff and paper work. They will take you out for a drive around Fort Wayne to see what you know and what you need to work on with the trainer, They will also have you park in a Truck Stop to see you good you do it with. Then you will go with a trainer for 21 days.

Most new drivers look at what they will make. When I ran the numbers comparing Transport America with 3 of the top driver mill carriers, I found that I would be making more with Transport America. Half way through my first full year, I'm on track to make 45k.

Transport America has added to their client base, brought in 50 new Kenworths, added new trailers, and bringing in new Freightliner's. Ready for growth! -
What kinds of KW's?

There are a lot more than a couple companies in a bad way right now. There are also a lot of companies ready for growth (or have been ready for quite some time) that can't seem to put butts in the seat because they're company policy is to discriminate against drivers for things other than their ability to safely operate the truck like height (too tall/short) or weight (too skinny/fat). That said, to the best of your knowledge, does TA discriminate against drivers based on physical attributes or medical mumbo jumbo?
-
Nope, if you pass the Physical they will train you

I don't need training, I need miles. I've been making phone calls and filling out applications since the company I had lined up and was ready to go with decided my BMI was too high, which they waited to tell me that after I quit my last company. It seems my clean driving history means nothing anymore (no accidents, no tickets, no warnings, no points on my license, CSA score of zero.) with all these companies deciding that a seriously flawed and meaningless number should be taken seriously.
