I want to start by saying thank you for all the information that everyone passes on to others to read. I have deceided to join and start posting threads. They call me Wolfman out on the open road.

I am not the best typer out here or the best speller. Once you read my threads, you will know what I am saying.

Just to get you up to speed on who I am. I am a ex truck driver since December of 2004. I have been out of a truck for to long. I remember back in 1994, when I took truck drivers training. It was the thrill of a life time. I enjoyed the whole 360 hours of training. The hardest part was at that time I wasn't able to cross the state line with a CDL class A. I was to young. I took on some local jobs until then. As the years past, I drove for a few companies here and there just to find my nitch. Just to make a long story short, I have about 1 1/2 years past experiance up until December of 2004. From that time to now, I have drivin School Bus. I am ready to hit the open road again and retire from trucking. It is in my blood and can't stop thinking about it. I am starting class again for 160 hour refresher course to recurtify my CDL. I have now been prehired for Transport America as of 2:00pm Friday January 23, 2009. I know a few people working for them. I have done my research and took the job offer. I start my refresher course with TCE school here in Eagan, MN on monday January 26, 2009. It is 3 weeks long and 160 hours strong. Once I am out of school, right to Indiana I go for orentation for three days. Then I get set up with a trainer for 3 weeks. Then back to take a upgrade test and then I am on my own. I can't wait to hit the road again. My modoe is, You take it as you get it. Do your job and do it well. You will come out at the end.

I will try to put updates here as I go so you will know where I at. Like I always say to everyone out there on the road, Keep the rubber side down and drive safe.

Well, I am back for an update for all of you out here. I am all done with the refresher class and now have 160 training hours behide me. I will be leaving on the 22nd of February and heading to Scottsburg, IN. The 6 day orenintation will end on the 26th of February. I will then return to the Eagan, MN Terminal. I head home and get things ready. I wait to get a call to when I need to meet the OTR Trainer. I hop on his or her truck for a 4 week traning session on the road. Then I believe I get dropped off at the Scottsburg, IN terminal to test into solo status. Then on my way back here to Bloomington, MN with loads, I can fill the rest of my truck up with my other stuff to make it feel like home in there. I think I get a few days off then. After all that I can roam the open road again. I really miss it.

Keep the rubber side down and drive safe.

Well, just a few more days before I hit the road for Scottsburg, IN. I will be leaving early morning in a company van on Sunday the 22nd of February. Orientation starts Monday morning. I am going to bring my laptop with me and keep you guys up to date on what is happening day to day. I am hoping that the hotel or resturants have WIFI. If not, I guess I will have to wait until I get home. I thank all of you for your support and info. Take care for now. Keep the rubber side down and drive safe.
