Just because I choose to use a word, has 0 to do with my intelligence level. You'd be amazed at people that use way more colorful language than I do, who are way smarter than you and I ever thought of being. Just to let you in on something about the people over there....we have preachers and many other Christian folks that are members as well. We also raise money for charities and members in need when there houses burn down or get demolished by a tornado. So it ain't nothing about looking cool or being a rule breaker, its about that's how some people talk, and it gets the point across.

This has been a rule since the moment we entered the site, so why is it that when it is brought to the attention of everyone (not just a few) that so many get defensive (or offensive)? All BHW did was gently and very kindly remind us of such. Lots of us push the envelope at times, and we have bad days where we vent and words come out that shouldn't. We aren't being told we can't say what's on our mind, just that we need to be aware of the words we use when saying it.

It's ironic that when a post like this is made by one of the mod's or Admin, folks jump on it like flies on a pile of cow pooh. I see a lot of posts from those same people interacting with us, having fun, but nobody gets upset about that. It's only when the threat of a hand slap comes about that everybody over reacts. If the rules are too strict, why are you here in the first place. As pointed out, there are many sites that aren't moderated.

Rather than attack the mods and Admin, maybe we could say "thank you for keeping this site open to us and for giving us a place we can come to visit, get answers, ask questions, and interact with others in the industry". In the grand scheme of things, this is a business and Sam is the owner. If you walked into a public business and the sign on the front door says "no shoes, no shirt, no service", are you going to undress and walk in expecting nothing will be done about it?

I'm not brown nosing, as some will say and think. I'm stating my opinion and that is acceptable here at TTR.

Thank you, Sam, BHW, MT, CC, and the many other mods that I missed (y'all are just the main ones I see and interact with).

I'm off to work, have a great day everyone.

I received an infraction 2 years ago and it had an expiration date (I dont remember how long it lasted) but if you look at my profile it still shows up, with no assessment. Hope that helps.

I got one back in 2008 for excessive links. Did not even know what they were. Haunts me every time I look at it.

Has a longer life than the CSA Points. LOL.
