    What the heck? When I typed the word c a m e l in a post it got changed into ##### by the profanity filter or whatever you call it. Is this word banned for some reason or is a glitch?

    I'm guessing that the ultra liberal big brother looking over your shoulder filter, filtered it out, on the off chance that you were using the word in conjunction with the word "jockey." I don't think staff has a tremendous amount of control over that PC filter. . .:biggrin_25513:

    It's unfortunate, but that word is in the filter because entirely too many people have used it as part of an ethnic slur.

    Thank you for letting me know, I never thought of it being used that way. Mine wasn't an ethnic slur, well maybe it was, it was a joke about an Amish guy moving to Iran would need to learn how to shoe a c a m e l and I suppose even something like that would be considered offensive by some in todays world. I just thought it was funny thinking about seeing an Amish buggy behind a c a m e l lol

    I once told my wife to say smurf instead of a cuss word. I think it would be hilarious if our word filter did that
