What are some rules on here about using links as a reference to a question or stuff? I plan on asking numerous questions about trucking in the near future. Are we allowed to use links from Youtube, Company Sites, and other trucking websites? Not to advertise, but to use as a reference to better help with my question?

You should be asking this a couple floors down in the Trucking Forum Information Center.

Scroll down when you are at the main forum index and you will see it.

Thank you for the guidance, but I can't move the thread. I guess I can delete this one, once I figure out how to, and then start another one.

    UPDATE:

Yes I can share Youtube links. Sorry guys, I'm still getting used to the forum thing.

You can share links with other members as long as your intent isn't to advertise or otherwise promote.

Also it is better to link where your information comes from so readers can read the rest of the story. Otherwise links are to used for some pictures that should not be linked. IE I posted what real pain was like and linked to where my nasty leg wounds could be seen, with the warning that the link may gross people out and dont look if you are faint of heart.

Thank you for the tip. I do have another site besides Youtube, which is another trucking website. I just Googled "Prime Inc Pay" and I found some good information on another site which looks to be another forum of sort. I still need to find out if I can use their link here. That website's initials are TT.

I dont recomend it. Many users know of the other site. Yet it is my understanding that they pale in comparison to this one. The mods here hold the forums to honor others. The other forum tends to have alot of former posters here whom would not follow the rules. So it is in your best interest to not try to link the other forum. That is unless you really want to get a lot of warnings.

This is a great forum for those of us whom are willing to comply and not treat others poorly. There is alot of good info here, we of the forum hope you will enjoy it as well.
