Suggestions

Hello,... I just wanted to make a suggestion on adding a new section for thread starters in the trucking forum.

I found some terrific stories on a different site, they were labeled on the post starter as, Trainee tales, and Trainer tales. This section kind of gave the ability for students, and trainers to log there endeavors of schooling, teaching, and the first year of OTR, the mistakes they made, thing's they wished they would have done differently....and so on. I found most of these posts and or story's to be positive in nature. And, most of it appeared to be excellent information, with the exception of the site was not up-kept, and the last good post was done in 2002. So, I am sure as always allot has changed since then. I would like to leave the URL for whom ever this suggestion concerns. But, I am not sure if I am authorized to do that yet. And, I don't want to break the forum rules. I would like you to see the story's for yourself to see that they are very upbeat and joyful to read, with lots of success stories, something that seems to be missing in this great site. The majority of the posts here are a little discouraging. I think a few more positive ones could help! Just a suggestion, but I hope you give it a little thought. Thanks for reading!

Great Idea For a Fourm

I think we need a comanpy rebuttal fourm because the short time I spent as an EMT before trucking I learned that there is His story, their story, and the truth, we need to let companys post back to the comments other people leave, why not?

If folks knew the companies were actively participating here as well, there'd be a lot less information available from the drivers. Not a good idea IMO.

dont they have that here under discuss you favorite company or discuss your worst company experiences. they even got a section with a few trucking companies listed that members here leave remarks about the company. what else could you want except maybe a phone section where you call the company and tell them off.

There is NOTHING stopping a company rep from coming here and answering comments from drivers.
But they usually just look around and leave. If they want to respond to a comment about their company then they are free to do so. So what you are asking for is already in place. Just not their own section.
