Worst truck stop you have been to

Sometimes when it is cold, stop the pump handle and then restart it. It sometimes gets going.

 

I messed with both sides a half dozen times each and accumulated a $0.55 sale. Needless to say I drove on down the road and fueled elsewhere. I could half-way understand if it was 0, but 14? I guess it being Christmas morning early with no one else fueling and being at the far pump (nearest the entrance) ... but it still seems like poor engineering or weak equipment and design to me.

 

Loves has fewer dumps on average than the rest of them in my experience but their are exceptions of course. Many of the former Williams-Pilot-to Loves are run down badly. I use Loves because of their generous rewards. 1500 gallons in a month get's you 4 points per gallon. Translates to about $5.00 dollars of credit every fill up or $15 dollars a week for me. There is an art to Loves as many of them are laid out tight with no pull thrus which jams up the lot if you need to park so time of day makes a big difference. Some of the newer ones are bigger and laid out better though.

Well, my brother was a manager at one of the loves for a brief spell, he couldn't handle it. He told me it was a great job tell he had to help out with the fuel island trash cans and washing out the showers on a Cashion, so let's get into some details??? Well it wasn't pretty, one night he was emptying all the trash cans into a big one, when he said " I looked over and seen this old lady get out of her truck and throw a plastic type loves bag into the trash" when he went over to the trash can to empty it out he almost threw up, "She s h I t in a bag and threw it in the trash!!" Then he presided to tell me about "ALL THE LOADS on the shower walls he had to clean OFF!"

 

There used to be this little truck stop off of 90/94 in Chicago maybe enough parking for 10-15 trucks. Back in the day that was the worst one I ever went to. Could not get any sleep with all the reptiles running around.

 

Stopped at T/A i70 exit 59 Clayton Indiana 02-08-2014. I intended to eat fuel and head for home. I walked in door with another driver he sat down. I went to wash my hands. I came out of restroom and sat at counter, observed the guy who walked inn at same time as me setting at a table reading menue. The waitress walked up to me and asked me what time it was. I told her 10:31 p.m. She then told me I can only get fried food as kitchen is closed and they were only making fried foods. The guy with the menue asked why did you give me a minue if only had fried food. She said she did not know why T/A closes the kitchen. It is advertised as 24/7. We both left. I went to loves got fuel and headed home. I actually went a little out of the way to stop and eat. I always try to stop at a T/A or Petro so I can get something other than fast food or fried stuff. I will try to contact corporate and politely voice my complaint.

 

Any flying j, pilot pick one it sucks, that and i hate them period!!

It is without a doubt, the armpit of Romulus.
