I drove under the old laws. So there wasn't a "reset" .Well i guess there was you grabbed a new log book. So I wouldn't know what to do with myself to have to just sit around for 34hrs for no reason. When I sat there was a reason the broker or company i was with couldn't find me a load.

I do laundry, clean the inside the truck, catch up on sleep. I occaisionally get a hotel/motel room for a night just to get out of the truck. Also depending where I'm at I may take a tour of a historical site.

Translated means you adjust start stop time to create a running 34 hour reset..... Not using it if you were stopped would be to make what point. I see no reason to shut down for, but if I'm stopped anyway using it makes sense.

Gives you time to research the new book about drivers and there pet lizzy, during the 34 hour reset. Because we know the lizards will hangout if there is no customers. Places like truck stops. But I know drivers would never, never cheat on there spouse with one of those disgusting vaccum's of bodily fluids.
