I am a former Walmart store manager. Just to clarify, there is a policy that stores have to follow. All walmarts must allow tractor trailers to park up to 24 hrs if it does not impede the normal flow of business. No store manager can change that policy unless there is a city ordinance banning truck parking. Sam walton supported drivers enough to make it part of the "obligations" of a store managers job. Word of advice...park at the far end of the lot along the curb. Look for the white line parking spots. Those are for associate parking and no one should bother you out there. If they do, heck, ask to see their truck parking policy and the number to the regional office. That usually sends them away quietly. :biggrin_25525:

not all walmarts will let you park, some will call the cops and give tickets out. I usually look them up on my gps and call them, ask for the manager and get his name, in case someone calls the cops. if u ask they will usually let you, especially if you need prescriptions filled

Chattanooga, US 27 off I24 at the Signal Mountain Road exit. if headed north on 27, turn left at the of the ramp and go 1/2 mile. Walmart is on the left. if going south on 27, make a right at ramps end and Walmart is on the left 1/2 mile.

i drop my trailer there all the time and i live behind the store. i see drivers parking and sleeping there on the left side of the lot all the time where i drop my trailer. they have never said a word.

Tell that to the manager of Tupelo MS. They call the law and have you moved. Happened twice and was told Walmart does not allow parking there. Tupelo Police knocked on the door.

I've never had any trouble parking at Wal-Mart.
As long as you stay out on the back 40 you shouldn't have any problems.
Theres a new WM Super Center in Pittston, PA right across from the Pilot.
Trucks are parking in there when the Pilot fills up.
It has a huge lot - bigger than most.
There were over a dozen big trucks in there the other night.

If you have a problem, call 1 800 walmart and report it. I know ome store managers think they can do what they want but, it is a company policy to allow trucks to park.
