I travel in the 13 southeastern states. I dress neat and clean. I always park, enter the store, ask to speak to the manager and explain why I am in his lot and ask permission for staying the night, day, or 34 hours and where would my truck be the least problem for him. I have yet to be asked not to stay. Sometimes I am sent to the back of the store but not away.

Easton, Pa is one of the places that you can not park at, they would have you towed is what had been reported on here in the past.

You can use www.findfuelstop.com, set a login id is better. Then you can put in the starting point, end point and via if needed to get you on the right rode. It will map out fuelstops (and some of these are just for fuel, no parking), but you can pull up a station in a new window and scroll down the page and it will have things in the area, if there are any, like rest areas, other stations and Walmart. You can pull up the Walmart, it will have a google map and zoom in to check out what it looks like, if you can get in it or not. Be sure to call the Walmart first though. I try to avoid husband going to the ones that look like they have the island with the trees planted and small areas to maneuver in like in some of the more populated mall type areas. This mapping also helps if you are deciding how far to go for the night/day for a break or overnight, etc. That and google maps too.
