Can any drivers post Wal-marts that allow tractor trailers to park while shopping? It will be so nice to know ahead of time so we do not get off the exit to find we can not shop there, then have to try to find a place to turn around. :biggrin_25526:

There's about 3000 of them. Where do you want me to start? Kansas? :biggrin_25522:

Most allow you to park there. Just be inconspicuous and stay out of the way. And leave when done shopping. The ones that don't allow trucks make it obvious.
Even the bad ones, the Walmart trucks have to get to the docks. So there is a turn around or if you feel brave, park behind the store and run in and out.
GPS's are good for finding Walmarts.

I know there are alot of them, I am hoping some drivers can post ones that they know have parking. I am not talking about where the delivery drivers go, or the ones that are so conspicuous even an idiot can see no trucks are allowed. I have a truckers GPS that lists the Wal Marts so that is not an issue. I am sure there are some drivers who will be willing to list a store where they know they can park.

The main thing is to park out of the way. Don't be afraid to get out and walk.I think many drivers would park inside the store if the was an opening large enough. Don't leave your piss jug or trash for someone else to clean up. .

If it's near an interstate, they'll usually allow you to park there to shop. Some even have spots for overnight parking like the one in Hope, AR...I-30, exit 30.

Walking is not an issue, we walk every day for health reasons. The trash, nope, do not do that either. Thanks for the tips, I am sure they will pertain to someone reading this.....:biggrin_25513:
