You keep using that word...I don't think it means what you think it means.

Seeing how absolutely, positively no one who works in this industry is a freeloader.

The email version isn't certified but it helps when you only need to go in once to pick up the final ticket. I can weigh, pull around and adjust tandems, reweigh, then park and go in if necessary. Cat scale will stand by the weiget in court even if you just have the email copy.

Cat Scale is working on getting the Efs card to work with the weigh my truck app. It's in closed beta now. Only real issue I run into is cashiers not understanding what I'm doing.

Forget the truck stop do what that dude does in TX off the Interstate....Flying J across road and he charges $5.00 a day/night, wide loads 10.00 a day/night to park in his dirt lot, I have parked there several times when my hours were low and almost up, my company pays/reimburses ya anyways...I spoke with the dude who collects the 5 bucks from you when ya pull in, he told me oh yeah the Owner here ain't hurting he got plenty of money....reasonable, and adequate.

Ohhhhhh yes. I've even drawn up (not-to-scale) plans while waiting to get loaded. Primary features:
    - a hotel on site; 15% off for anyone in the shop past their 14, 50% off for bar patrons (all keys MUST be checked in upon arrival; we will NOT permit an intoxicated driver to go back to their truck)
    - bobtail parking-only lot; any bobtails found in the full-truck lot will be towed
    - oversized load/doubles-triples lot
    - long-term parking lot; pay in advance for a set number of days, check keys at the desk; if you can't make it back to your truck by then, just call and we'll add daily charges until you get back, pay when you get your keys back (anyone parked more than 48 hours past pickup date without notice will towed); would be gated & patrolled
    - building will be CENTRAL to all parking, no more half-mile walks just to take a piss!
    - showers will have individual tankless water heaters
    - shuttles to & from local spots, Walmarts, etc., free with fuel/shower/shop/hotel stay receipt
    - scale house separate from C-store cashiers with parking just for scaling trucks
    - all parking spaces designed to be pull-through or sight-side back (no more blind siding in a rain storm after midnight!)
    - local bands playing at the bar on busy nights (Thurs, Fri, & Sat)
    - NO FOUR WHEELERS!!!!! I'm fed up with every "truck stop" catering to the highway travelers who go in for fuel & a piss and head on their way. These places are home to us!
    - washer & dryer units designed to be used together (pre-pay for a certain number of loads, covers the cost of the washer & the dryer; no more instances of one guy using 2 washers & 4 dryers at the same time); also, enough machines to make a laundromat envious... oh, and no front-loading washers; they smell mildewy fast and stuff gets trapped under the "seal" between the door and the wash compartment
    - first 48 hours free, then discounted rate for moving to long-term parking
    - sensors on spaces with a display at the entrances showing how many spaces are open
    - security patrols hourly, 24/7
    - trash cans emptied/ lot cleaned every 3 hours 24/7
    - ANYONE caught dumping ANYTHING, especially piss bottles, ANYWHERE but the trash cans will be fined heavily
    - ANY belligerence towards staff or security is an automatic 86
    - an ACTUAL restaurant serving good, quality, healthy food
    - 2 or 3 shower porters on staff at all times

There's much more, but this is getting a bit TLDR, soooo... lol

    Infosaur and homeskillet Thank this.

It would be a large 100 acre space with all truck parking, no 4 wheelers allowed, True Country Homemade food, no buffet, large store with items that drivers need to do the job, Chrome shop, C.B shop, lower prices throughout complex, discount fuel for truckers, tattoo shop, barber shop, medical facility/dental, game room with pool tables, darts, few video games, large huge screen T.V with all the best channels, Thursday night football, Sunday Football, plenty of fuel islands 20 at the least, truck wash (free to drivers), free coffee anywhere in the truck stop. It would be modeled somewhat after Iowa 80, Petro Joplin, MO, Oak Grove, perto, Mo, and possibly more, as we would have a drivers suggestion area. As the owner i would be out among the drivers meeting with them to hear their gripes, concerns, good things about our facility, or bad things . To improve the drives experience. DRIVERS MOVE THIS COUNTRY, AND COME FIRST AT OUR PLACE

    JL of Indiana Thanks this.

Mine would have a TV ban on NCIS and Law & Order
I'll sell you the DVD's so you can watch it in your truck
