Willie's Place; Carls Corner CLOSED (Again)
I stopped at Willie's Place tonight, ready for one of the great steaks at the Blue Sky Cafe.....

Hopefully pilot never gets their hands on it, they will take the theater and put 8 subways in there and cut the parking lot in half.

Layed over a whole weekend, went into the bar for a cold beverage, LOUD music, too light, what a weird space. The showers didn't have toilets in them. What were they thinking? If you are a Willie fan, so be it, but as a truck stop, it left MUCH to be desired....I wasn't impressed. The end of the biodiesel tax credit killed this place. Write your Congressperson, ok?

The restaurant had the best steaks for any truckstop, you can't deny.

The old one was a great truck stop,when they built the new one it was just a tourist stop.
