Apparently the trucker boycott of Denny's is working. I heard there are several Denny's (that were Country Market) that are now losing money.

I wouldnt doubt it..
There are certain places a person just will not eat. For me, its the Burger King. I would eat dirt before eating there. Just my preference. From what I gather in this thread, thats the same way most drivers feel about Denny's

10-4 on Bugger King there Dutch. There are a few around here, and they just flatly STINK. I mean, when you are driving down the street near them, they put out a ghastly odor that is even stronger than my cigars!
Only time I've known ANY Denny's to smell that bad was when their ventilation system went out while they were bricking the grill.

As the wonderful comic and speaker Jeanne Robertson once said "People don't go to Denny's, people wind up at Denny's."
p.s. I like Burger King. I'd rather eat there than Wendy's.

There are two fast food places I'm not at all likely to go, due to having picked up a bit of food poisoning at both. Arby's and Wendy's. I will admit that I have been in a couple of Wendy's since it happened, I just don't eat their chili at all.
But Arby's? Man I almost died from eating at one of them in Denver. And I have not, nor will I ever go back to one. This was clear back in the late '60's, and I still can't forget it. . .

There certainly was, at least in Denver. I'm not sure, but I think the full name back then was "Arby's Roast Beef Sandwiches."
