Of course any dealer, whether guns, bikes or cars, would pay somewhat less for any item, since they're in business to resell it and make money - they also deal with inventory and other business costs.

My point was that if some guy is going door to door at a truckstop, and its not a driver you just saw climb out of his truck in order to sell you his extra CB radio, avoid... because it's either hot, or just junk.

That is most likly a fast selling gun in that area he might have even had some one looking for one but if it is something a shop is going to sit on for awhile they are not going to pay high end for it .
