Best BBQ truckstop

When they light the fire in the morning is enough to make you want to blow off the day & just stay there. The food is excellent there, showers are two miles down the road if you get stuck in that area for a 34 hr reset.

 

nice people there as well, I couldn't decide what to get so they gave me samples of each item. Their brisket melts in your mouth.

 

i stopped there once a couple years ago and the biscuits in the morning are freaking heavy.

 

Sounds like TX Best BBQ I used to stop there all the time...last time I was in there it had dropped off a little from what it used to be but still pretty good...

 

I wouldnt live anywhere else!

 

it is TX best. there is a half dozen of them around now. The BBQ is good by truck stop standards but not up to most TX bbq paces. the bathrooms are worth stopping for alone

Have stopped at other non truck stop related BBQ places in TX as well as the Texas Best BBQ. All put to shame the chain garbage they serve up here in IL no matter the stop. Up here they seem to think if the food is drowned in sauce it must be good.
