Pilot/Flying J showers...

I worked at a Loves and they made do it all we didn't have just people whom cleaned showers I only worked with 1 other person on the night shift

Yes drivers left them gross and I will not go into telling you how they left them but believe me they were gross but I cleaned them with pride knowing that if no complaints then they would be happy now when I am on the road and I see a gross shower before I get ready to take a shower I go talk to the manager and it is taken care of

 

Makes you wonder what some of these truckers bathrooms at their house looks like.

 

Yes i heard stores from the shop, urine wreeck'd trucks, holes drilled in floor for number two, number two on catwalk , makes ya wonder were these people live, thirld world countrys were they live in a hut, i know i recoverd a truck in Az , 123 out , muggy hot the whole work's, i opean the door on that truck , dang near passed out ,musta set in sun a long time, i jump up on the step , had look inside from cab to bunk was full of thrash, dog waste, even with the arm rest, his old poopy drawers laying on bunk, nope not gonna do it, i told em non driveable, they hauled back on a flatbed,basicly total'ed out the truck,

 

Like you two just said, makes you wonder how they live...Unreal ....

 

Almost kinda makes you wonder what their truck and/or house must look like....

 

Wonder, yes. Desire to find out.....uh, uh.......

 

Then again, they probably treat their company ride like most people treat a rental car. It's not yours, so why take care of it?

 

I've been to a few really nice Pilot/Flying J's, especially since the contest started, usually in the northwest. We fuel at Loves a lot more and I hate those worse (in general). One towel, no bathmat of any sort, and my towel usually smells old and used.

Give me a choice and I'll do T/A or Sapp Bros, but we almost never fuel T/A and rarely Sapp Bros, so Pilot and Loves showers it is.

Theres some kind of flesh fungus or bacteria living in some of those unclean showers. If they dont clean em' up with disenfectant, then the fungus lives on, waiting for the next victim. There are a couple drivers on this forum who came down with it, and had to spend some time in the hospital. Take some spray disenfectant and use shower shoes.
