Best Bars For Truckers

Suty's truck stop in Klamath Falls Oregon off of U S 97 has a nice bar with a band some nights...Lots of truck parking and a decent place to eat also...

 

Probably once a month I get a load outta Klamath for home.Columbia Plywood I think. BUT..After tarping and all that nonsense I have always gone a few miles S just before Cali on 97 cause of a restaurant there..That's over..

In a OK bar right now in Big Springs,NE waitin on a couple of "homies" from well..home. It's by the Pilot er J..Aw hell with it right next to the Motel6. Friendly folks here-the women even talk to me.

 

I forgot to mention, I went for a Hike the last time I was in Racine. There's a nice bar/restaurant just west of the Petro.
IIRC it was called the Outhouse.

The place looks like it's still being built, but I think that's intentional.

In the Quality Inn across the street from JR's Travel Center in Oklahoma City .
An older 40+ crowd but this place was always packed with a really good house band playing country music.

Midway Truck Stop near Columbia, MO has a country bar with live music upstairs above their restaurant.

The Grain Bin next to the Pilot On I-90 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Live country music and a very good restaurant in the same building.

Crap! I was just there and I didn't think to see if the Hotel/Motel/No-Tell had a bar. But there was a place diagonally across from the Petro that was boarded up. I hope that's not the place.

I wanted to go down to Bricktown but there was no place to park a truck
(and a surprising number of low clearance bridges!)

However, if I ever go back,,, I have a plan!

There's a bike rental Kiosk by the hotel. Drive up. Rent bike. Pop bike in Trailer. Go to truck stop & park. Ride bike back to Bricktown. Party. Take cab "home".

So now that I have a plan,,, I'll probably never end up with a 2 day layover in OK City again.

 

Right across from Rhode Islands only 24-hour truck stop on I-95x 5 in West Greenwich,RI theres a Bar/Restraunt that has live bands on weekends...Even if you dont plan on drinking the restraunt has excellent food...Its called Dans Place...

 

There is a GREAT place in Rufus,OR called Frosty's Lounge, 101 E Main Street. Also inside is a restaurant called Bob's Texas T-Bone Steak where the booze is cheap and the women are easy.
