Now what really happened was the driver got sooo pissed about the fuel prices that he ran it over deliberately and would of gotten them all had he not been stop'd before he could turn around to go back for more,,lol

I know we have the video of it.I'll try to post it.can you imagine how that trailor had to rock.those wheels had to be two and a half feet off the ground before they came back down.

My thoughts exactly. It is called "leaving the scene", which is a major violation....1 year disqualification for the FIRST conviction....unless he had on HM, in which case it would be a 3 year disqualification for the FIRST offense. If it happens a second time? You're disqualified for LIFE!

If you THINK you hit something, STOP AND CHECK IT OUT!!! If you leave, or attempt to leave, and ANYONE saw what you did and saw the name on the side of your truck (and possibly even the truck number), you're done. If you JUST fueled up, the fuel stop will have that information. Seeing as how it was a fuel pump which suffered the damage, the incident was likely caught on video. In other words, you WILL be caught. You WILL lose your livelihood over what could otherwise be a minor incident.

Future forum post here at TTR:

"Driver: So I ran over a gas pump and smashed it to pieces. I thought I hit something but wasn't really sure so I kept driving. Before I got out of the lot, the staff waved me down and showed me the damage. Do you think this will go on my DAC?" :biggrin_2559:
