I stop here to put a few gallons of fuel in when I drop in Albuquerque and DH back to El Paso and dont feel like dealing with the cluster####s that are the Flying J, Love's and TA. There's a couple of cuties that work the fuel desk which is always a plus. 50 gallons buys you the standard free shower, plus a free coffee or any size fountain drink and 10% off anything at the restaurant. It's a pretty nice little stop, maintained and one of the few non-chain truckstops i frequent with card readers at the pump. Today I decided to finally try out the restaurant. I figured that the food must be pretty good as it's frequented by the locals who live neaby.

I ordered a patty melt, my favorite burger. It was very good and the cook didn't skimp on the fries, he piled them on unlike most TAs I go to where you're lucky to get a handful. Overall I was very impressed.

It has a decent sized parking lot to boot.
