    Making a differnce at PILOT

Hello, After a hard divorce and loss of my business, I took at job a Pilot, In maintenance, Yes I clean showers and nastey toilets, for a living ok if that what you wanna call it, Pilot dont pay sh==t, Anyways after working there a few months my heart grew on the drivers and how they were being treated and the nastey fithy showers they had to use, This is store 476 I74 woodhull illinois, My sister has been driving truck for 25 yrs and i said if i wouldnt let her shower there neither would anyone else, Needless to say my showers are perfect, I use bleach I know i am not use it but the drivers seem to like it best and I feel better using it,......
Pilot is spending 49 million on upgrades to showers within the next yr, Ok thats fine but that not the problem, the problem is the non caring employees who could give a rats A-- if the drivers had a clean shower or not, I ask them when i first started if they would let their families shower there, I just shook my head,
I understand you....the driver, And I want to make a differance, I want to know that you can take a clean hot shower and not see mold, filth, hair,#### stains on the toilets.
I believe i have already made a differnce at store 476, But i want to take it further, What can I do to make things better for you,

    Georgia store 476

I will say this. My recent shower experiences, except for two, have been good at Pilot. The two mentioned were not awful, but certainly not up to par in terms of cleanliness. I notified the managers on duty....didn't yell or scream, just pointed it out. I used to manage a business that employed a number of workers making minimum or "starting" wages, and I know how hard it is to get people to work and do a good job nowadays, so I keep that in mind.

I wish you well, and thank you in advance for your efforts.

Websites like TTR wouldn't exist! Perish the thought!

I caring employee only 50k or so more to go. On the bright side. I usually am happy with the facilities. Then again, I am prior military and a water hose in the parking lot is better than the showers on a boat. Overall I am pretty happy with most pilots wish they offered free coffee though

I really don't care for chain truckstops... but when someone like you tries hard to make a difference, and takes a great deal of pride in their work, that will win my business every time. I showered at Woodhull 2 weeks ago. I was impressed. Keep up the great work.... and Thank You!

One person can make a difference.

I did a 34 at the Pilot in Perryville, MD off I-95. The showers were clean enough, but nobody cleaned the men's bathroom the entire time that I was there. Same piss on the floor under the urinals, and same nastniess all over the sinks and fixtures the whole time I was there. And the smell just kept getting stronger.

if drivers would clean up after themselves, it wouldn,t be so messy.i,ve been in restrooms where toilets are plugged up and people keep using it.gross!. seems people can,t hit the trashcan. and look at the truckstop parking lot and lets see who are the pigs. thanks to the op for the work you do.

When did they open that one back up? It was closed for a long time. I use to frequent the TS on the other side of the interstate.
