Do you tip for showers?
I figure since showers are (almost all of the time) free, do you ever leave a tip for the shower cleaner?
I don't think they get paid very well, and I don't think I've ever met a bad shower cleaner. Even at Pilots and J's, they always seem happy to do their job, and if I happen to have a dollar bill in my wallet, I will leave it on the counter before I leave.

I will occasionally if the cleanliness of the shower and/or personal service exceed my basic expectations.

If I take a shower then I always leave a tip. But, I have requested my shower credit returned because I wouldn't take a shower in their dirty facilities.

I have walked out of more than one shower and demanded my credit returned. Especially when I see them use the towel of the guy before me to do the floor. It always amazes me to here the clerk say "well it's because we are busy" No it's called LAZY.
Yes I will leave a tip if standards are met.

They are paid hourly for that job. It's not tip based like a waitress/waiter.
So, ummm, no..... Never...

If it's a mom&pop type place, though becoming increasingly rare, that doesn't charge for shower even if no fuel purchase, I definitely will.

Uhh. Have you ever received a "TIP" from any receiver.
Why should people get a tip if the are paid to do the job? If the job doesn't pay enough that you have to rely on the generosity of the other guy, time to look for another job.
Yes, i know restaurant workers, ie waitress's work for tips. I am refering to everyone else that works by the hour.
